Manitoba invited 583 candidates under the MPNP and held occupation-specific selection in Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream on February 23, 2023, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #169, the MPNP held the first occupation-specific candidate selection under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream and invited 207 applicants under the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021 minor groups.

MPNP held the first occupation-specific candidate selection under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream and invited 207 applicants under the following National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021 minor groups:

Manitoba also issued 298 LAAs in the regular Skilled Workers in Manitoba draw. The minimum score for the LAA in this category was 693 points, 27 points fewer than the previous draw.
In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, Manitoba issued 27 LAAs to candidates invited under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score in the SWO category was 721 points, 12 points more than in the previous draw.
In addition, 51 invitations were issued in the International Education Stream. Manitoba has issued LAAs to 583 candidates, including 140 Express Entry candidates for this round. In 2023, MPNP invited 1,570 candidates, and 232 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.
