IRCC held a new all-program Express Entry draw on March 15, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 7,000 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under Express Entry. In this draw, IRCC continued inviting candidates under all immigration programs. In round #243, the cut-off score was 490 points, the same as in the previous all-program draw.
The tie-breaking rule for this round was February 16, 2023, at 10:33:06 UTC. As of March 15, 2023, there are 245,121 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, 1,747 more than the previous update.
In 2023, Canada issued 23,559 ITAs through Express Entry. The country’s record immigration target for 2023 is 465,000.
Since January 18th, this was the first all-program draw that has now been conducted. Also, it broke the previous record set on January 2023 draw of 5,500 making it the largest all-program draw ever. The most recent draw pattern was likewise broken by this draw. All of the most recent draws were program-specific, with the majority being PNP-only and one including candidates for the FSWP.
