OINP’s new draw results under the Entrepreneur Stream on January 27, 2023, Ontario Immigration Nominee Program released the OINP new draw results under the Entrepreneur Stream. It was the first draw for business candidates of the year.
In this draw, the province invited 10 business candidates. The minimum score of this round was 137, 3 points fewer than the December 22 draw. The OINP noted that those whose Expressions of Interest were scored by January 20, 2023, were eligible for this draw.
This year, Ontario invited 2,980 candidates under all streams of the OINP.
Overview Of the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP)
The province’s program for economic immigration is called the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, works with the government of Canada (IRCC). Foreign workers, foreign students, and individuals with the education level, skill, and experience submit nomination applications to the OINP.
People with the knowledge and experience that the Ontario economy requires are identified by the OINP and nominated for permanent residency; however, the final decision to grant applications for permanent residency lies with the Government of Canada.
What is OINP Entrepreneur Stream?
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program has an immigration stream called the Entrepreneur Stream (OINP). It was created in accordance with the 2015 Ontario Immigration Act and subsequent regulations. You must follow the regulations’ processes and meet their requirements in order for your application to be approved.
This stream is for business owners from outside Canada who want to start a new business or buy an existing company in Ontario.

Ontario Masters Graduate stream issued 692 invitations on January 25, 2023, Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) issued 692 invitations to apply (ITAs) to potential candidates in the Expression of Interest system pool for the Ontario Masters Graduate stream. ONTARIO INVITED CANDIDATES UNDER TWO STREAMS OF OINP:
Ontario invited candidates under two streams of OINP. On January 24, 2023, the Government of Ontario held new draws in the Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream (EJO IS) and Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). The province issued 620 invitations to apply (ITAs) to eligible candidates through the EJO IS Stream. The minimum score for this draw was 82, 8 points more than in the previous draw. OINP INVITED 1,252 CANDIDATES UNDER THE FIRST SKILLED TRADES STREAM OF 2023:
On January 13, 2023, Ontario invited 1,252 candidates under the skilled trades stream of the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP). The CRS score range of the invited candidates was between 336-506 points. Candidates, who created their profiles in the Express Entry system between January 13, 2022, to January 13, 2023, were considered by OINP in this draw for 42 NOCs. IN THE LATEST OINP DRAW FOREIGN WORKERS STREAM INVITED 404 CANDIDATES:
On January 10, 2023, the Government of Ontario held new draws in the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Workers Stream (EJO FW) of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). The province issued 402 targeted invitations to apply (ITAs) to skilled trades occupations and 2 ITAs to candidates who may qualify for the federal Economic Mobility Pathways Project (EMPP).
