IRCC invited 7,000 candidates in the new all-program Express Entry draw

On March 23, 2023, IRCC issued 7,000 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under the new all-program Express Entry draw. In this draw, IRCC continued inviting candidates under all immigration programs. In round #244, the cut-off score was 484 points, six points fewer than in the previous all-program draw. 

It was the lowest all-program CRS score since December 2020. The tie-breaking rule for this round was May 19, 2022, at 06:48:41 UTC. As of March 22, 2023, there are 240,146 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, 4,975 fewer than the previous update. In 2023, Canada issued 30,559 ITAs through Express Entry.

 

Candidates for Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and Canadian Experience Class received a total of 7,000 ITAs (CEC). The CRS score needs to be at a minimum of 484 to be invited to apply for Canada PR.

Those who have been invited to apply may do so in complete, along with any necessary supporting documents, within 60 days. If the application is approved by the IRCC, they will be handed a Canada permanent residency visa.
