On May 18, 2023, Ontario invited 1,694 candidates under the Ontario Skilled Trades Stream. The CRS score range of the invited candidates was between 250-489 points. Candidates, who created their profiles in the Express Entry system between May 18, 2022, to May 18, 2023, were considered by OINP in this draw for 46 NOCs.
Candidates who received a notification of interest do not need to contact the program and can apply to the stream. This year, the province has already invited 4,668 candidates under this stream and issued 18,781 invitations under all OINP`s streams.

Overview of OINP Skilled Trades stream
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Programme (OINP) operates an immigration stream called the Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream. It allows immigrants with relevant skilled trades work experience in Ontario to apply to live and work permanently in Ontario.
OINP Skilled Trade Stream requirements to apply:
- Work experience
- Valid certificate or license (if applicable)
- Language: Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 5 or higher.
- You must have enough money to support yourself and your dependent family members when you settle in Canada
- Intention to live in Ontario
