Over the last week, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new draws in the pools of International Experience Canada (IEC). From September 30 to October 6, Canada invited 2,846 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit. As of October 6, 30,400 candidates registered in the pool, awaiting the invitation.
In 2023, Canada issued 124,462 ITAs under the IEC Program.

The International Experience Canada pools are now open for the 2023 season. You can create a profile if you are eligible. Choose your country or region to discover how likely you are to be invited to the next round. This country’s quotas have been re-distributed. This increases the likelihood of applicants being invited to their selected category. Working Holiday in Chile:
- Quota: 1,618 + 2,500 added as of August 25, 2023
- The first round of invitations: Week of February 6, 2023
- The Final round of invitations: To be announced
- Invitations issued to date: 5,652
- Spots available: 836
- Candidates in the pool: 6,952
