In the first half of June, Prince Edward Island held two PEI EOI draws. On June 1, 2023, PEI conducted a new invitation round in the Labour Impact Category and invited 97 candidates. Only Labour and Express Entry applicants were invited to the most recent Prince Edward Island PNP draw. On the PEI PNP draw held on June 1st, no invites for Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs were sent out. The previous draw of this sort was held on May 4, 2023.
The Prince Edward Island PNP has invited 2,256 Labour & Express Entry applicants over the past 12 months, while 92 Business Work Permit Entrepreneur applicants received invites.
- Entrepreneur invitations to start a business over the last 12 months: 4%
- Invitations to apply for work and Express Entry in the last 12 months: 96%
On June 15, 2023, the province issued 118 invitations to apply to skilled workers in the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams. PEI also invited four candidates to the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream. The lowest score for business candidates was 82 points, 17 points more than in the May draw.

Who is eligible for PEI PNP 2023?
To be eligible for nomination through PEI Express Entry, you must:
- meet the requirements of at least one of the Federal Economic Immigration programs:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program;
- Federal Skilled Trades Program; or
- Canadian Experience Class
