PEI PNP Latest Draw Invites Business Candidates and Skilled Workers

PEI PNP Latest Draw

The PEI PNP Latest Draw takes place on September 20, 2024, and welcomes highly skilled workers and business investors to Prince Edward Island, with a focus on in-demand industries such as health professionals, construction workers, and transportation workers, among other business entrepreneurs. This unique draw reflects PEI’s ongoing effort to enhance its workforce and promote regional businesses.

Key Highlights of the PEI PNP Latest Draw:

  • Skilled Worker Draws: PEI issued 46 targeted invitations for skilled workers in the sectors that matter most specifically in health care, construction, and transportation. It is an invitation to applicants whose work permits are expiring before the end of the year 2024 and who will assist the province in retaining essential talent.
  • International Graduates: The province also accepted applicants under the International Graduate stream, which included programs for those whose work permits expire in 2024. This indicates that PEI was interested in retaining educated and skilled immigrants who had just graduated from institutions in Canada.
  • Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream: Other candidates received invitations under the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream, two of whom were invited. The minimum score for these business candidates was 97 points, which was down by 8 points from July, so there’s a perfect chance for business applicants in this regard.
