Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)
The Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Program, or SINP, was launched in 1998. It was started to assist in addressing the province’s demands for immigration and the employment market.
The provincial initiative in Saskatchewan has been very successful. Out of every ten new residents in the province, seven immigrated via the SINP. Around 76% of newly arrived residents in the province are employed. Over 85% of newcomers choose to remain in Saskatchewan, indicating that retention rates are equally strong.
