New Brunswick introduced a guide for Transport Truck Drivers (NOC 7511)

On March 1, 2022, New Brunswick published a new guide for Transport Truck Drivers (NOC 7511). The new immigration pathway for truckers has been established within the New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream of the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NB PNP).

This economic immigration program allows the province’s employers to hire truckers working under the NOC 7511 from inside and outside Canada. All applicants must meet the minimum eligibility requirements for age, language, job offer, work experience education, etc.

And employers who want to hire foreign nationals should apply to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program and obtain a positive LMIA (Labor Market Impact Assessment).
