New BC PNP Invitation Draws

On March 19, 2024, the Government of British Columbia conducted New BC PNP Invitation Draws, extending invitations to skilled candidates across various sectors. These draws represent the province’s ongoing efforts to attract and retain talent, addressing specific labor market needs and bolstering economic growth. British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program issued invitations to apply to skilled candidates in the general draw and to candidates with work experience in healthcare, childcare, construction, and veterinary care occupations.

Details of the New BC PNP Invitation Draws

In the general draw, the province invited 88 candidates. The minimum score for candidates invited to this draw was 98 points.

BC issued 27 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).

In the Healthcare-targeted draw, British Columbia invited 30 candidates who scored 80 points.

The province also issued 21 invitations to candidates working in the construction sector.

Furthermore, up to five invitations have been issued to candidates working in veterinary care occupations. In total, British Columbia issued up to 171 ITAs in this draw.

Overall, British Columbia issued up to 171 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in this draw, showcasing its commitment to attracting skilled professionals to the province. This year alone, the province has already invited up to 2,369 candidates, reflecting sustained efforts to address labor market demands and promote economic prosperity.

For candidates receiving ITAs, these invitations represent a significant opportunity to pursue permanent residency in British Columbia, contributing to the province’s diverse and dynamic workforce. Successful applicants can leverage their skills and expertise to fill critical roles, drive innovation, and enrich the local community.

The recent invitation draws under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program underscore the province’s proactive approach to talent attraction and retention. By targeting specific sectors and issuing invitations to skilled candidates, British Columbia continues to position itself as an ideal destination for individuals seeking rewarding career opportunities and a high quality of life.
