In its latest round of invitation draws on April 16, 2024, British Columbia invited skilled candidates under the Latest BC PNP Draw. This draw encompassed various sectors, including healthcare, childcare, construction, and veterinary care occupations, reflecting the province’s diverse economic landscape.

The general draw saw 39 skilled candidates receiving invitations to apply for provincial nomination. These candidates met the minimum score requirement of 107 points, showcasing their eligibility and potential contribution to British Columbia’s workforce.

Moreover, the province targeted specific sectors to address key labor needs. In the childcare sector, 12 invitations were extended to early childhood educators (NOC 42202), emphasizing the importance of nurturing the next generation of talent.

In the healthcare sector, which remains vital for public well-being, British Columbia invited 18 candidates who scored 97 points, acknowledging the crucial role of healthcare professionals in delivering quality services.

The construction industry, essential for infrastructure development, also received attention, with ten invitations issued to skilled candidates contributing to this sector’s growth and advancement.

Lastly, British Columbia recognized the significance of veterinary care by extending invitations to up to five candidates working in this specialized field, ensuring the welfare of animals and the communities they serve.

In total, the province issued up to 84 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in this draw, highlighting its commitment to attracting top-tier talent across various industries.

This year alone, British Columbia has already invited up to 2,759 candidates, signaling its ongoing efforts to address labor market demands and enhance economic prosperity.
