Manitoba Invites 150 Skilled Candidates Under the Latest Manitoba PNP Draw

Latest Manitoba PNP Draw

Manitoba expressed its commitment to the immigration of skilled workers on August 30, 2024, while conducting the Latest Manitoba PNP Draw for round 227 of MPNP. One more example of this is the last call to the applicants who have been recognized as suitable employees, with the necessary skills and abilities that the lack in Manitoba has been observed and that can contribute to the development of the province’s economy.

Highlights of the Latest Manitoba PNP Draw

In the Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO) stream, MPNP released thirty invitations in the Strategic Recruitment Initiative to the invited candidates, however, only 24 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued. The occupation skills program is aimed at qualified personnel, who possess the necessary qualifications and experience in the province, which makes it an important part of Manitoba’s immigration policy. Out of all the selected SWO candidates, the lowest score was 727 and this was 24 points higher than the previous draw (#226).

In addition, the International Education Stream (IES) remains crucial with graduates who have finished their studies in Manitoba and want to stay and work in the local economy. Out of this draw, 126 offers were issued to the candidates belonging to the IES stream, which further proves the commitment of Manitoba to keep talented people within the province after completing their education.

Express Entry Candidates Among the Invitees

What is worth noting about them is that 21 invitations were issued to the candidates who are members of Express Entry. Manitoba using Express Entry is popular and competitive in inviting persons to Canada for permanent residency, and the intentions behind selecting Express Entry candidates show that the ability and efficiency of persons to assimilate into the Manitoba economy is key selection criteria.

Manitoba’s Immigration Achievements in 2024

Up to the first half of 2024, Manitoba has conducted 5,840 through MPNP, with 854 of those to express entry creators. This strong invitation process is in line with the authorities’ objective to strengthen the immigration pool of the province to meet its demand in the labor market.

Why Consider Manitoba for Immigration?

Another aspect of Manitoba is that this province is actively engaged in immigration policy and therefore it opens certain opportunities for skilled personnel and foreign graduates. An emphasis on community development, available work, and a good quality of life makes Manitoba still one of the desirable Canadian provinces for newcomers. The MPNP clearly identifies people who are interested in making Manitoba their home and they are assisted when they get to the province.
