IRCC invitation rounds of January 2023 invited over 7,500 candidates under the International Experience Canada over the last week, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new draws in the pools of International Experience Canada (IEC). From January 13 to January 20, Canada invited 7,539 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit.
As of January 20, there were 24,317 candidates registered in the pool, waiting for the invitation.

IRCC invitation rounds of January 2023
The First IRCC Round of invitations was held on January 9, 2023 Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) increased the IEC quota for 2023 by 20%. The IEC provides a two-year opportunity for foreign youth aged 18-35 from 36 partner countries. The program allows Canadian employers to hire foreign workers for an extended period and enables young people to travel, get international experience and explore the country.
The quota for 2023 has been increased by 20% by IRCC in comparison to 2022. IEC 2023 will have a total quota of 90,000 applicants from partner countries. The first round of invitations will be issued on January 9, 2023. Australia, Ireland, France, Japan, the United Kingdom, Korea, New Zealand, and Italy have each received more than 50% of the quota.
