What are the PNP’s Programs?
For anyone who wants to immigrate to a specific Canadian province or territory, the provincial nominee programs (PNPs) provide a pathway to permanent residence in Canada.
The Provincial Nominee Programs in Canada allow each province the right to set its own requirements for the various immigration streams. With the exception of Quebec and Nunavut, every Canadian province has unique nominee programs that run in various ways.
Provinces offer programs that are targeted toward entrepreneurs, international graduates, or professionals with in-demand skills. Other targeted factors usually rely on the province’s labor market or demographic gaps.
What is Express Entry Canada?
The Express Entry system is a faster and simpler pathway to make your Canadian permanent residence dreams come true. Express Entry has a direct role in recruiting skilled workers. Once you get your permanent residence through Express Entry, you can settle and work anywhere in Canada. You get to enjoy social benefits, like public education for your children and healthcare facilities.
Applicants can once again apply under one of the 3 Express Entry programs:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program
- Federal Skilled Trades Program
- Canadian Experience Class
