Why is the IEC Program So Popular?

The IEC work permit program is one of a kind, whereby the young individual will be living and working in Canada, experiencing different things about that country. Thousands apply every year for these key reasons:

  1. Work and travel opportunity: This IEC program enables young professionals to work in Canada while traveling around the country, which makes it a perfect balance of career growth and adventure.
  2. There is no requirement of LMIA: IEC work permits are exempted from the Labour Market Impact Assessment. This reduces the processing time and makes the process easy for the applicants.
  3. Boost to Career Prospects:  Experience in working in Canada further opens the candidate’s international employability and career advancement.
  4. Pathway to Permanent Residency – Many IEC participants transition to permanent residency through programs like Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs).
  5. Diverse work opportunities: Participants in IEC can work in various industries such as hospitality, tech, healthcare, and trades, helping them acquire new skills and professional networks.
