British Columbia invited up to 193 high-skilled candidates under the BC PNP
On December 6, 2022, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified Skills Immigration candidates and Tech workers. In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 144 invitations with a minimum score of 95 points.
The province invited 32 candidates in the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202). A further 12 invitations were issued to skilled workers, international graduates, and entry-level and semi-skilled workers scoring at least 60 points in a draw targeting Healthcare workers. Additionally, fewer than 5 invitations have been issued for other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104). In total, the province invited up to 193 candidates. In 2022, British Columbia already issued 8,618 invitations in total, and 7,466 of them were issued for BC PNP Tech candidates.
The BCPNP draw that took place on December 6, 2022, as well as the required minimum score and streams, are shown in the table below.
