British Columbia held the first BC PNP draw 2023, On January 4, 2023, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) and invited qualified Skills, and Immigration candidates. In the general draw, the province invited 163 candidates. The minimum score for candidates invited to this draw was 82-105 points. In addition, British Columbia invited 28 candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202). In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 20 candidates. In total, the province invited up to 211 candidates for this draw. Last year, British Columbia issued 9,018 invitations.

BC PNP draw
High-scoring applicants who submit applications under each PNP category have been regularly chosen by British Columbia, which issues invitations to them through the BC PNP draw and grants them permission to live and work there permanently. Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada may accept applications for PR visas from candidates who are successful in receiving the provincial nomination (IRCC).
The province of British Columbia provides its citizens with a high standard of living and improved opportunities for career advancement. The British Columbia government annually invites up to 1,350 skilled workers. The BC PNPs nominee programs help to invite these candidates;
Health Care Professional Category: Foreign workers who have received a valid job offer for skilled employment from an acceptable business belong under the category of skilled workers. Additionally, candidates must have the minimum necessary job experience.
Health Care Professional Category: To apply for a Canada PR visa as a nurse, physician, psychiatric nurse, or other member of the medical field under this category, the applicant must have an acceptable employment offer and several years of relevant experience.
Entry-level and Semi-skilled Worker Category: This subcategory is for immigrants who want to apply for certain semi-skilled or entry-level jobs in the tourism and hospitality industry, food processing, and long-haul trucking.
International Post-Graduate Category: For foreign nationals who have obtained a master’s or doctoral degree from a recognized university located in the province of British Columbia.
International Graduate Category: This category is for foreign students who have graduated within the recent two years from a recognized and qualified Canadian educational institution.
