On August 3, 2023, Ontario invited 2,844 candidates under the biggest Skilled Trades draw of 2023 of the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP). The CRS score range of the invited candidates was between 250-516 points.
Candidates who created their profiles in the Express Entry system between August 3, 2022, to August 3, 2023, were considered by OINP in this draw for 46 NOCs.
Candidates who received a notification of interest do not need to contact the program and can apply to the stream.
This year, the province has invited 7,512 candidates under this stream and issued 25,797 invitations under all OINP`s streams.

What is the Express Entry Skilled Trades stream of Ontario?
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has an immigration path called the Express Entry Skilled Trades stream. It enables foreign citizens with relevant skilled trades work experience in Ontario to apply to live and work permanently in Ontario.
Before you can submit an application to be recommended for permanent residence by the Ontario government, you must have a valid profile in the IRCC’s Express Entry system and have obtained a Notification of Interest from Ontario. The next step after being nominated is to submit an application to the federal government via IRCC.
