The maximum points in the Entrepreneur Stream grid are 200. 120 points candidates can get for self-declared factors such as Experience & Ownership, Net Worth, Investment, etc. Another 80 points are given for the business concept. Entrepreneur Immigration
Entrepreneur immigration streams allow British Columbia to attract in and select business-savvy entrepreneurs who really are ready for investment and nominate them for permanent residence so they can live in B.C. and operate their own companies. International entrepreneurs contribute to the expansion of the economy in British Columbia and, along with their families, assist in the diversity of both urban and rural communities across the province.
The Entrepreneur Immigration (EI) Regional Pilot was started in 2019 to aid in the balanced and strong economic development across the province. The EI Regional Pilot focuses on partnerships between local governments and the provincial government to find and choose foreign entrepreneurs who are proposing initiatives that are suitable for economic development priorities.
Candidates for BC Entrepreneur immigration may buy a new or existing business in BC and get fully involved in operating on a regular basis. Rich foreign-owned businesses looking to expand into British Columbia as well as rich individuals with experience in company management can both take advantage of the opportunities provided by the entrepreneurial streams. The province of British Columbia eventually issues a provincial nomination to successful applicants, which will support their applications for permanent residency in Canada.
British Columbia Entrepreneur Immigration includes three streams:
- British Columbia Entrepreneur.
- British Columbia Entrepreneur Regional Pilot.
- British Columbia Strategic Projects.
