Overview of the updated AAIP inventory and 2023 Allocations
Alberta published the update considering updated AAIP inventory, Nomination certificate limits, and 2023 allocations by AAIP stream on August 9, 2023. The maximum number of nomination certificates that the AAIP may issue each year is determined by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). 9750 nomination certificates will be issued through AAIP in 2023, allocated across Express Entry and non-Express Entry pathways (subject to change throughout the year). In 2024 and 2025, it is anticipated that there will be modest increases to more than 10,000 nomination allocations annually.
These AAIP programs may change at any time without notice. They are determined in part by factor application volumes as well as how nomination allocations are predicted to be used in 2023.
