Family ties in Alberta’s immigration program.
To ease immigration to Canada, Alberta is changing its AAIP. According to a provincial announcement, those who have immediate family members residing in Alberta and have skills in high-demand professions like IT, healthcare, and agriculture will be given 25% of the Express Entry nominations. Honourable Rajan Sawhney, the minister of commerce, immigration, and multiculturalism of Alberta, says that this step will help in attracting more immigrants to fill the skills shortage. This plan will help Alberta’s economy is expanding.
