How to get provincial Nomination in British Columbia?
Candidates would be required to first establish their eligibility under one of the streams of the BC PNP in order to be granted a provincial nomination to British Columbia. In this case, the two main streams highlighted are:
- Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry BC (EEBC) streams. Applicants shall establish an online profile in the BC PNP Online Portal; wherein applicants for SI categories get themselves registered under the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
- Factors such as experience at work, education, language ability, and even the fact that there is an actual job offer from a B.C. employer attract points. The participants are ranked based on their scores. The highest-scoring candidates get invited to send in an application for a provincial nomination in regular draws.
- Once nominated, candidates are inducted with an extra 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points, greatly increasing the chances for any candidate of getting an Invitation to Apply for permanent residency in Canada by IRCC.
BC PNP semi-skilled job
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program allows applicants with semi-skilled employment opportunities to permanently reside within the province. It includes hospitality, manufacturing, transport, and more. Candidates from Targeted Draws who are experienced in semi-skilled work in key sectors may be invited by the BC PNP to apply for immigration.
This allows provincial economy contributors to enjoy the privilege of inhabiting one of Canada’s most desired provinces. BC PNP’s focused approach helps in dealing with specific labor shortages in semi-skilled occupations, hence being an ideal pathway for qualified workers seeking to settle in British Columbia.
