OINP invited 1474 Masters Graduate and Ph.D. Graduate streams candidates on March 19, 2024. The Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) issued 1,370 invitations to apply (ITAs) for the Masters Graduate stream. The minimum score of this round was 52 points, two points more than it was in the previous draw. In addition, Ontario also invited 104 candidates under the Ph.D. Graduate Stream. The minimum score for this draw was 42 points.  

Selected candidates in this draw had their profiles created between March 19, 2023, and March 19, 2024, demonstrating Ontario’s focus on recent talent acquisition and retention. By targeting individuals who have recently completed their studies or gained relevant experience, the OINP aims to leverage fresh perspectives and specialized knowledge to drive innovation and competitiveness in key sectors.

In total, the OINP has invited 23,471 candidates across various streams throughout the year, reflecting the program’s significant contribution to Ontario’s immigration goals. By attracting skilled professionals and graduates, the province strengthens its workforce, fills critical labor gaps, and fosters diversity and inclusion within its communities.

  • Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream.
  • Masters Graduate Stream.
  • PhD Graduate Stream.
  • Entrepreneurial Stream.

Candidates are ranked in the pool according to the factors listed in the Ontario PNP point calculators. Age, language proficiency, education, work experience, and job offer are all important factors in determining your eligibility for nomination in an invitation round.
