BC issued new invitations to 230 tech professionals and skilled candidates

BC issued new invitations

On December 19, 2023, BC issued new invitations in the Skilled Worker – International Graduate categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 107 invitations with a minimum score of 95 points. 

In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202), the province invited 62 candidates who scored 60 points. 

In the Healthcare-targeted draw, the province issued 29 invitations. 

Additionally, the province invited 32 candidates working in the construction sector. 

The province invited 230 candidates with a score of 60-95 points. Including this draw, in 2023, British Columbia has already issued 10,150 invitations.

The next draw date for the BC PNP is anticipated to be December 27, 2023. Weekly draws for the BC PNP are usually held on Wednesdays. The BC PNP sets the dates, frequencies, and CRS scores for these draws; these can vary based on a number of factors, such as the labor market, the province’s economy, and the immigration targets outlined in the Canada Immigration Level Plans.

  • 52112 Broadcast technicians

The occupations listed below are not the only ones that are eligible for the BC PNP.  Priority occupations may receive a targeted invitation after registering.
