Express Entry draws for FSWP and CEC candidates to resume in July
According to Canada Immigration Minister Sean Fraser, he recently announced that FSW and CEC draws would resume in early July 2022.
In September 2021, the Government of Canada halted Express Entry draws for both FSW (Federal Skilled Worker) and CEC (Canadian Experience Class) candidates. The pause was put in place while IRCC (Immigration, Refugee, Citizenship Canada) worked toward eliminating a backlog of applications that built up during the hit of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the meanwhile, Canada has been holding Express Entry draws for PNP recipients only.
