The second BC PNP draw issued 211 ITAs in June

On June 13, 2023, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the second BC PNP draw of June 2023 and invited qualified Skills and Immigration candidates. 

In the general draw, the province invited 170 candidates. The minimum score for candidates invited to this draw was 87-107 points. 

The province issued 23 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202). 

In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 18 candidates who scored 60 points. 

In total, British Columbia issued 211 ITAs in this draw. This year, British Columbia has already invited 4,966 candidates.

How to qualify for British Columbia PNP?

To qualify for the British Columbia PNP skilled immigration stream, an applicant must:

  • having accepted a full-time, indefinite job offer from a B.C. Businesses (the offer cannot be temporary or have a set expiry date). A skilled occupation (NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3) must be the type of job performed.
  • be capable of accomplishing the job’s responsibilities.
  • a minimum of two years of full-time work experience (or work experience equivalent to two years of full-time work) in any skilled occupation (NOC TEER 0, 1, or 3).
  • prove your ability to take care of yourself and your dependents.
  • possess legal immigration status in Canada, or be eligible to do so.
  • Meet the minimum language requirements for NOC TEER 2 or 3 occupations.
  • have a wage offer that corresponds with the occupation’s B.C. wage rates.

You need to have an IRCC Express Entry Profile Number, and a Job Seeker Validation Code, and meet the federally required minimum language criteria for being able to use the Express Entry BC option. These demonstrate that you meet the requirements for one of the federal economic immigration programs offered by the Express Entry system administered by the IRCC.
