Ontario Masters Graduate stream issued 692 invitations on January 25, 2023, Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) issued 692 invitations to apply (ITAs) to potential candidates in the Expression of Interest system pool for the Ontario Masters Graduate stream.
Candidates who received an invitation had a minimum score of 44 points, 2 points fewer than in the previous draw.
The profiles of selected candidates were created between November 22, 2022, and January 25, 2023. In total, this year, the province invited 2,970 candidates in five draws under the OINP streams.
With a minimum cut-off score ranging from 33 to 46, the OINP Masters Graduate Stream invited 3,890 EOI profiles in 2022 total.
Ontario Expression of Interest Ranking System
The following components are used to determine points in the Ontario Expression of Interest Ranking System:
- their educational background, including their academic level and field of study.
- proficiency in either French or English.
- the desire to relocate outside of the Greater Toronto Area.
- Experience level and work experience, past earnings, and other variables that affect job prospects in Ontario.
- needs of the province’s or region’s labor market.
Ontario Immigration Nominee Program

The Ontario Masters Graduate stream is for individuals who want to immigrate to Ontario as permanent residents who have a master’s degree from an Ontario university.
A provincial nomination from Ontario would be provided to those who are selected for this Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), allowing individuals to apply to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for permanent residence status.
