On August 1, 2023, the Government of Ontario invited candidates through three OINP streams. The province issued 755 invitations to apply (ITAs) for the Master’s Graduate stream and 84 ITAs for the PhD Graduate Stream.
The minimum scores for these draws were 48 points and 39 points, respectively.
In addition, the province invited one candidate in the targeted draw for the federal Economic Mobility Pathways Project under the OINP’s Foreign Worker stream.
So far, Ontario has issued invitations to 22,953 candidates under all streams in 2023.

How long is the application processing time for OINP in 2023?
Ontario updated the average application processing times for the OINP on July 25, 2023, Ontario updated the average processing time in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
Currently, the processing times for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream and Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream are 70-100 days.
Processing times for Ontario’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream, Master’s Graduates and Ph.D. Graduates Streams, Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream, Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker, and Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream is 90-120 days.
The processing time for Ontario’s Expression of Interest (EOI) Assessment in the Entrepreneur Stream still requires less than 30 days, and the application processing depends on the complexity of the business nomination application.
