In addition, 62 invitations were issued in the International Education Stream. Manitoba has issued LAAs to 587 candidates, including 162 Express Entry candidates for this round.

Skilled Worker Program Manitoba

The needs of Manitoba employers are the driving force behind the Skilled Worker Program. The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Programme for Skilled Workers is mostly a locally driven program that is managed with Manitoba employers’ requirements in mind. The workers selected by MPNP are all highly skilled, internationally trained, and experienced workers who have a specific skill set required by the local labor market.

All of the selected applicants are then nominated for and/or invited to apply for Canadian Permanent Resident visas, which will enable them to work and settle in Manitoba, Canada.

All qualified candidates with the skills required to contribute significantly to the expanding economy are encouraged to apply to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Programme.

The Manitoba PNP enables all nominated candidates to become Canadian citizens and to remain and work in the province of Manitoba.

What is the Skilled Workers Overseas stream?

If you want to be considered for the Skilled Worker Overseas (SWO) path, you must show that you have a strong connection with Manitoba by Having the assistance of family or friends (Manitoba assistance), having completed your study or worked in the province previously (Manitoba Experience), or having received an invitation to apply directly from the MPNP as part of a strategic recruitment initiative (Manitoba Invitation).

You must receive at least 60 points based on the following five factors in addition to having a link to Manitoba: language proficiency, age, work experience, education, and adaptability.
