French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream
One of the Human Capital streams of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) administered by the government of Ontario, is French-speaking skilled Workers. French-speaking Skilled Worker accepts Express Entry applicants who exhibit competence in both English and French and the potential to contribute to the province’s workforce as skilled workers.
Candidates who are successfully nominated through the Ontario French-speaking Skilled Worker stream will be asked to apply for Canadian permanent residence. This path corresponds to the federal Express Entry immigration program. To be eligible for the stream, an applicant must have an active profile in one of the two Express Entry programs:
- Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), or;
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
