British Columbia invited up to 284 candidates in the latest BC PNP draw on January 31, 2023, British Columbia issued new invitations in the Skilled Worker – International Graduate categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 243 invitations with a minimum score of 85 points.
In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202), the province invited 18 candidates who scored 60 points. In the Healthcare-targeted draw, the province issued 18 invitations.
Additionally, fewer than 5 invitations have been issued for other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104). The province invited up to 284 candidates with a score of 60-85 points. Including this draw, in 2023, British Columbia has already issued 1,122 invitations.

BC PNP Skilled Worker–International Graduate
Individuals who have graduated from a Canadian university or college and have a job offer in British Columbia are eligible to apply for permanent resident status in Canada under the Skills Immigration International Graduate category of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).
To qualify for this category Candidate must:
- have accepted a full-time, permanent job offer in a skilled position (National Occupational Classification TEER 1, 2, or 3) from an employer in BC;
- meet minimum language requirements for NOC TEER 2 and 3 occupations;
- qualify to work in the job offered;
- have a wage offer in line with BC wage rates for the occupation; and
- have legal immigration status in Canada, or be eligible to do so.
