BC PNP Draws 2023: the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified Skills Immigration candidates.
In the general draw, the province invited 175 candidates. The minimum score for candidates invited to this draw was 87-109 points.
The province issued 30 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).
In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 20 candidates who scored 60 points.
In addition, the province invited fewer than five candidates working in other priority occupations.
In total, British Columbia issued up to 230 ITAs in this draw. This year, British Columbia has already invited 6,056 candidates.
The following factors may be used to target invitations to apply to the Skills Immigration streams in a draw:
- education level, topic of study, and place of completion
- Eligible professional designations in B.C.
- language proficiency
- Occupation
- length of work and level of expertise
- Occupational wage and/or skill level offered
- want to work, live, and establish oneself in a particular area
- Strategic goals are elements that support government pilot programs and initiatives or address specific labor market needs in British Columbia.
