199 skilled candidates and tech professionals invited under the BC PNP Draw on August 1, 2023, British Columbia issued new invitations in the Skilled Worker – International Graduate categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).
In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 132 invitations with a minimum score of 88 points.
In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202), the province invited 39 candidates who scored 60 points.
In the Healthcare-targeted draw, the province issued 23 invitations.
Additionally, fewer than five invitations have been issued for other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104).
The province invited up to 199 candidates with a score of 60-88 points. Including this draw, in 2023, British Columbia has already issued 6,265 invitations.

What are the requirements for the BC PNP in 2023?
As a skilled immigrant, to be eligible for the BC PNP in 2023 the candidate must meet the following requirements:
- accept a full-time, intermediate job offer from a BC company that is qualified. The job offer must fall under National Occupation Classification (NOC) skill level 0, A, or B.
- must have at least two years of experience working in a position that is directly relevant to their education.
- Demonstrate your ability to care for yourself and any accompanying family members.
- be capable of entering Canada legally.
- Meet the minimal language requirements for jobs at NOC skill level B.
- Offer a salary that is in line with the industry median in British Columbia.
