BC invited over 176 candidates in the new BC PNP draws May 2023

BC PNP draws May 2023

On May 2, 2023, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the BC PNP draws May 2023 and invited qualified Skills and Immigration candidates. 

In the general draw, the province invited 133 candidates. The minimum score for candidates invited to this draw was 85-107 points. 

The province issued 22 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202). 

In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 16 candidates who scored 60 points. 

In addition, the province invited fewer than five candidates working in other priority occupations. 

In total, British Columbia issued up to 176 ITAs in this draw. This year, British Columbia has already invited 3,880 candidates.

Here is an overview of the new BC PNP draws, along with the number of applicants who received invitations to submit applications for provincial nomination programs for the province of British Columbia.

The BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)

The Immigration Programs Branch of the Government of British Columbia administers the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), an economic immigration program. The province may select and nominate foreign workers, students, and entrepreneurs through the program in order to advance government initiatives, fill labor market gaps, and expand the province’s economy.
