Ontario already nominated 6,033 candidates in 2019

As of October 10, 2019, the government of Ontario issued 6,033 certificates of the provincial nominations. This year Ontario was allocated 6,650 nominations in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). In addition, the federal government added 250 nominations for the candidates whose main occupations are in the NOC Skill Level C. The total provincial quota for 2019 is 6900. This means that the leftover of OINP nominations for this year is 867. So far, Ontario issued invitations to apply for the provincial nomination to 9,289 candidates, and among them were 1,000 master graduates, 50 candidates in the Entrepreneur Stream, 549 French-Speaking Skilled Workers, 732 Skilled Trades candidates, and 6958 Skilled Workers in the Human Capital Priorities Stream (including 3,396 tech-draw candidates).
