What is the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program?
The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) is a program that seeks to address the province’s skilled labor shortages. This program seeks talented and experienced professionals and workers who are a suitable fit for Alberta’s labor market.
Alberta is known for its natural resources, fertile soils, mild climate, and quality of life – all of which are essential ingredients for an excellent quality of life. Alberta province has an extensive labor market with many opportunities for talented individuals looking to start or grow a business. The AAIP provides newcomers with the skills they need to be successful in Alberta, while also helping to build strong relationships between Albertans and foreign-born residents.
The AAIP was created in response to the need for skilled workers in Alberta’s economy. Since its inception, the AAIP has helped more than 2,500 families settle in Alberta. The program is available to individuals who meet the stringent requirements set by our government.
